The autumn collection was fitted the way we always fit — on people who move. Models sat, reached, walked stairs. A sleeve that creases wrong at a desk is redrawn, not excused.
Milled wool arrived from the Bielle valley in September. It is heavier than last year’s cloth by forty grams, which changes how the coat falls from the shoulder — we let the hem out by a centimetre and the drape came back.
What changed in the cut
The Vesper slip lost its darts; the bias does the shaping now. The Colette midi gained a deeper vent so it walks properly. Small things. They are the whole point.
Every piece in the edit is cut in Paris from milled wool, washed silk and Irish linen — made to be worn until they soften, then worn some more.
