Glaze, fire, and honest variation

No two of our ceramics match exactly. That is not a flaw in the process — it is the process.

Glaze, fire, and honest variation

The glaze we use separates slightly in the kiln, pooling darker where the form turns. Two bowls fired side by side will not match. We could fix this with an industrial glaze. We will not.

Turn it over: an unglazed foot ring, three kiln-stilt marks, our stamp. The weight should surprise you slightly — stoneware fired to 1280° carries its density quietly.

Buy the set knowing the four are cousins, not clones.
